According to the Randstad Employer Brand Research 2024, key factors for choosing an employer beyond attractive pay include a friendly atmosphere (64%), work-life balance (55%), and social/environmental responsibility (26%).
Engaged employees are focused on their tasks and take initiative, all of which contribute to their overall employee experience. This area is especially important to us, which is why, in addition to our annual #WELL-BEING program, which emphasizes the physical and mental health of our Aillerons, we prepare various activities to foster a positive atmosphere and support wellness. What happened this summer? Find out for yourselves!
It was all about chill & relax – our annual Summer Chill Zone
The Summer Chill Zone is an initiative aimed at enhancing employee comfort and boosting productivity, which is part of our comprehensive, long-running wellbeing program. Its goal is also to encourage employees to integrate in the workplace. During the holidays, we captured a bit of summer in the office. We enjoyed our morning coffee on deckchairs, with freezers full of ice cream waiting in the kitchen. Moreover, once a month, we prepared something extra for our Aillerons – a food truck from GoodLood visited us, a bartender served zero-alcohol drinks, and we could enjoy waffles almost like those from the Baltic coast. Doesn’t that sound like the perfect summer spot? 😀
The zone is our way of spicing up the workday and encouraging active and productive breaks, while its integration aspect is simply priceless.
High attendance, especially during special events, showed that employees eagerly take the opportunity to come to the office, knowing they’ll meet their colleagues. After all, many of us sometimes need to leave the house, spend time with others, and enjoy the perks of office life. 😉
SUPer summer activity – what we do after work?
Stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) is the hottest trend in water sports these days. It’s easy to handle, enjoyable, and suitable for everyone. Seeing the sports enthusiasm among our Aillerons, we decided last year to invest in equipment: boards, paddles, and life jackets, all branded with our company colors. Employees can borrow these necessities for personal use by booking them in our system.
Are you wondering why we started this initiative? After the first season, it turned out that SUP is SUPer! It’s a great way to integrate, perfect for a hot afternoon, an excellent way to maintain well-being, do a full-body workout, and an opportunity to reconnect with nature. As you can see, many approaches can help sustain well-being, and employee experiences can be built on various levels. It works for us – give it a try!
We’re planting trees in Polish forests together with posadzimy.pl
We build employee engagement in many areas. We strive to be as socially responsible as possible, focusing on raising environmental awareness among our Aillerons. We regularly publish the “Look & Care” newsletter on our internal channels, discussing CSR and ecological topics. Our next step was to turn our words into actions by partnering with posadzimy.pl to plant trees in Polish forests. You can find our profile on their website.
We have combined this initiative with our #WELL-BEING program. We convert kilometers cycled, walked and run into trees planted. Additionally, in our ALLgood app, employees can use earned points to grow their own tree and receive a personalized certificate.
These actions give employees a sense of real impact on the environment and community as we plant trees and set a good example. It’s a key element of our long-term business development strategy, rooted in our core value of EMPATHY. We’re committed to being responsive to global and local needs. Moreover, we recognize that environmental responsibility and social engagement are crucial factors in attracting talent (26%), particularly among Generation Z entering the job market.
