The vast majority of Poles believe that professional development is essential, and training remains an attractive benefit for employees. At Ailleron, we understand this and actively support our experts’ growth through various initiatives. One such initiative is the Power Up Camp, now in its fourth edition. Statistics show that employees value this program, which delivers tangible benefits; the previous year, presentations were rated 4.4/5, which motivated us to organize another edition.

How do we foster talents and support a culture of development?

Employee development is crucial to our authentic and innovative organizational culture. Through our programs, we unlock human potential, empowering employees to take initiative, share knowledge, and express their ideas. By fostering a learning culture, we provide our #AilleronExperts with opportunities to grow their talents. During Power Up Camp, they showcase their expertise and step into the role of lecturers.

Development initiatives like Power Up Camp allow Aillerons to make the most of their talent, spark creativity, and boost motivation, ultimately leading to the company’s increased productivity and innovation. According to Gallup research, higher employee engagement can result in up to three times greater profits than companies with less engaged staff.

Investing in employee development mutual benefits. With such potential and creative employees willing to share their experiences, harnessing this knowledge within the organization is essential.

What topics did #AilleronExperts discuss this year?

Power Up Camp provides our specialists with a platform to share their expertise more broadly. Each edition allows #AilleronExperts to present their professional experiences. This year, we hosted eight outstanding presentations on diverse topics, with many focusing on artificial intelligence. In response to Ailleron’s developmental needs, we also invited external experts from this exciting area of the IT industry.

Our first speaker was Piotr Galbas (Software Architect/Mobile Guild Guru), who presented on career development for developers. Next, Jakub Leśniak (UX Lead/Ailleron Guild Guru) addressed the question, “Can AI be effective in travel planning?” – it certainly can! His presentation was a fantastic inspiration for planning future vacations. Katarzyna Falkiewicz (Software Developer) highlighted the benefits of knowledge sharing within the Mobile Guild, which actively operates at Ailleron, while Rafał Kołecki (Information Security Officer) discussed information security in the context of AI. Finally today, Łukasz Kurek (Senior Software Developer) will talk about optimization in IT projects and life.

We also invited external specialists to deepen our understanding of AI. We welcomed Bartosz Mikulski from Sages, who discussed “AI and Vector Databases – Information Retrieval in Documents” and “Using AI: From Theory to Practice in Business and Everyday Work,” as well as Łukasz Sennik from eTutor, who talked about “AI in Language Learning – How Not to Wait for a Miracle and Start Learning Independently”.

The world is moving faster and constantly changing. AI now influences various professional spheres and enters our personal lives, transforming markets, economies, and organizations. People are concerned about the future and wonder if AI will take their jobs. Recognizing the importance of this topic, we prioritize education and awareness-building. The more we know and prepare, the better we can leverage AI’s potential, shift our mindset, and alleviate concerns about the future. Proper preparation is critical.

At Power Up Camp, we cover a wide range of topics, ensuring everyone can find something valuable to take away. Once again, we prove that Aillerons have POWER.
